Nokia tablet powered by Snapdragon 800 listed on GFXBench

We have already heard about a Nokia Windows RT tablet that reportedly got canned earlier this year. But that doesn’t seem to be the only tablet the Finnish company was working on and NokiaPowerUser has spotted a new Nokia Windows tablet (RX-114) listed on GFXBench.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note III is expected to be unveiled on September 4 and as we inch closer to the date, we are seeing a number of photos and specifications surface online. Now, BGR Classic has spotted real-life photos of what is said to be a prototype of the Galaxy Note III.



Xiaomi unveils Hongmi quad-core device

Xiaomi has announced the long rumored Red Rice smartphone. Its official name is Hongmi which is Chinese for... well, red rice.


Xiaomi Hongmi packs a 4.7-inch 720p IPS display with 312ppi density, protected by a Gorilla Glass 2. The Hongmi is powered by Mediatek's MT6589 chipset featuring a quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A7 processor, PowerVR SGX544 graphics and 1GB of RAM. Other notable features are the 4GB storage plus a microSD card slot, and a 2000 mAh battery.

Karbonn A1 Star and A5 Star available for Rs 3,514 and Rs 4,890

Karbonn launched A1 Star and A5 Star After the A3 and the A4, Karbonn has discreetly launched another two budget smartphones— the A1 Star and the A5 Star. Both the Android smartphones were spotted on e-commerce sites for Rs 3,514 and Rs 4,890 respectively by FoneArena.

Google Nexus 7(2012) now available for Rs.11999

Google launched its second-generation Nexus 7 tablet last week with an upgraded 7-inch display that now supports full-HD resolution, sports faster internals and runs Android 4.3.



While it would take some time for the new Nexus 7 to reach Indian shores, there is something to cheer about for us less lucky folks.

Is budget iPhone will be named iPhone 5C? While rumors are rife about Apple launching a new low cost variant of the iPhone, it's still not known what the purported phone will be called.



However, a new leaked photograph of plastic retail packaging that appeared on a Chinese website shows white plastic boxes marked 'iPhone 5C' complete with the Apple logo. It's hard to confirm if the packaging boxes are genuine, or whether they're being made for Apple's upcoming low-cost iPhone.

Nokia Lumia 729 with PureView camera leaks

Fresh out the rumor frying pan comes a press shot of a yet unheard-of Nokia Lumia 729. The device sports a yellow paint job, PureView branding on the camera and is apparently destined to Verizon Wireless in the US.



Micromax launched Bling 3 A86 for Rs 9,599

Micromax Bling 3 had a coming soon badge on a few e-commerce sites, but now the phone is available online for Rs 9,599.



The Bling 3 builds on the linage of the Swarovski Zirconia laden Bling line up and now runs purely on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and has a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 0.3-megapixel front camera and has support for microSD cards supporting up to 32GB of memory.
