Xolo’s new tablet based on Nvidia’s Tegra Note reference design. Today the Indian smartphone vendor unveiled the device— named Xolo Play Tegra Note—at an event in Mumbai, Gizmodo India reports.
To remind you of the specifications, the Xolo Play Tegra Note is somewhat of a powerhouse on paper. The tablet is powered by a Tegra 4 SoC featuring a quad-core Cortex A15 CPU, which also includes a fifth core for better battery efficiency and a massive 72-core GeForce GPU.
Other features included are a 7-inch (1280×800 pixels) display, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera with software add-ons like Camera Awesome app, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded to up to 32GB using a microSD card and a battery that is good enough for 10 hours of HD video playback.
The tablet runs on Android Jelly Bean and is bundled with a double-sided stylus, which essentially lets users operate the tablet using both the tips of the stylus.
The tab will be officially launched in India next month and according to the report will be priced between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000.
