XOLO Q1000S video review

The XOLO Q1000S runs on Android 4.2 with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The handset comes with built in 2500 mAh non removable battery and is powered by 1.5GHz MT6589T processor. The Q1000S is priced at Rs. 18,999.

Inside the box you will find the XOLO Q1000S handset, screen guard, Travel charger, data cable, earphone, warranty booklet and user guide. In addition you will also find a SIM tray ejector pin (check video review).

The handset is slim – on the box it’s mentioned 6.98mm whereas it’s actually 7.60mm thick. The handset is sealed and there is no option to open up the battery compartment, in fact a 2500 mAh battery comes built in. Even though the XOLO Q1000S has got a slimmer body it is not at all light weight, the Q1000S weight is 162 grams.

The built quality and finishing is good, the front view is almost black, looks elegant. Rear side is black color with matte finish. The silver outline surrounding the rear camera glass is not perfectly aligned and it looks kind of ugly.

There is 3.5mm audio jack on the top, micro USB port next to it, normal SIM tray on the right (It’s a normal SIM slot not a MICRO SIM slot) and volume rockers / power button on the left. The volume rockers and the power buttons are placed slightly towards the bottom instead in the (side) center.

Q1000S breadth is 72.13mm and length is 146.99mm. The handset supports single SIM and sports a 5 inch IPS OGS screen supporting 1280×720 pixels resolution with 16M colors. The touch is smooth and responsive. There is light, proximity, accelerometer and magnetic sensors.
