Swipe MTV Slate tablet launched for Rs.15,000

After Volt and Slash phablets, MTV and Swipe Telecom have now tied up to launch an Android tablet named Slate, which comes with 7.85-inch display and a SIM card slot of 3G and voice calling. The tablet is priced for Rs 14,999.



The MTV Slate comes with a 7.85-inch IPS display with 1024×768 pixel resolution. Features-wise, the tablet runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a Cortex A7 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM.



Other features in the tablet include a 5-megapixel camera, a VGA front camera for video calling, 3G SIM support, connectivity through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a 3,200mAh battery, and 8GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The tablet is available for pre-booking for Rs 14,999, comes with a free business cover bundled with it and is available on Swipe e-store and other online portals.
