Micromax launched Canvas A76 Fun dual core with 5 inch screen

Micromax has now launched the Canvas Fun A76 handset with a 5 inch screen and powered by a dual core processor. The handset is already listed on some online stores. This handset is priced at Rs. 8499.



Micromax A76 also called the Canvas Fun supports dual SIM and runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The handset is 10.55 mm thick. The 5 inch screen supports FWVGA resolution (854×480 pixels) with 16M colors.



Canvas Fun A76 is powered by dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. RAM is 512MB and internal storage is 4GB. 1.25GB is assigned as phone storage. We are not sure if it’s with MediaTek or QUALCOMM processor.

The rear FF camera is 5 MP resolutions with HD video recording and there is a front camera of VGA resolution. A76 supports 3G (21Mbps), 2G (EDGE/GPRS class 12), Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS. There is built in FM radio with recording. G-Sensor and Proximity sensors are included.

This android smartphone comes with 2000 mAh battery with a talktime of up to 7 hours on 2G networks. The handset is listed on Flipkart with coming soon status and also on Snapdeal with a price tag of Rs. 8,499. Another handset the Micromax Doodle 2 is also expected to hit the markets soon.
