Magicon launched UltraSmart Q50 in India for Rs 7,999

Magicon has launched an Android smartphone named the UltraSmart Q50 Magnus in India. The dual-SIM phone is launched to cater to the low-end smartphone market and is priced for Rs 7,999.



 


In terms of features, the UltraSmart Q50 comes with a 5-inch multi-touch display. It runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice-Cream Sandwich and is powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor with 512MB RAM. This apart, the phone comes with an expandable memory via a microSD. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera with touch-to-focus and flashlight. There is a VGA camera on the front, which can be used for video calling. However, the phone does not support 3G networks, so its main use will be restricted to self portraits.

On connectivity front, the phone supports GPRS, Bluetooth and, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspot. Other features of the phone include an accelerometer (G-sensor), ambient light sensor, 3.5mm slot for an audio jack, microUSB port, and a 1650-mAh battery.

Magicon UltraSmart Q50 Magnus is available in white and black colors and can be purchased from various e-commerce portals.

Those looking for options can go for Micromax Canvas Lite A92 which carries better features including support for 3G and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is priced for Rs 8,499.
